BELIZE
Formerly known as British Honduras, Belize, located on the Central American coast is now and independent state (1981) and has responsibility for its own governance with executive power in the hands of the locally elected Prime Minister.
This stable and independent democracy has a judiciary which itself is independent of the executive and the legislative branches of government.
